De nacionalidad española, trabajo principalmente a través del grabado, la fotografía, la instalación y la performance. He desarrollado mi carrera artística al mismo tiempo que mi carrera como fotógrafa, habiendo trabajado para diferentes periódicos, firmas de publicidad y para el sector privado, especialmente dentro del mundo de la música.
Como artista, trabajo multidisciplinarmente acerca de los conceptos de identidad y memoria, enfocados mayoritariamente a través de la figura de la mujer. Mi línea de trabajo está directamente relacionada con la experiencia vital en la que me encuentre; de ahí que la ejecución de mis piezas tengan siempre un enfoque muy personal.
En los últimos años, he ido afianzando mi carrera artística, habiendo realizado diferentes exposiciones dentro y fuera del territorio español, tanto en galerías como en ferias, oficiales como independientes (A3bandas, Galeria Aire, el Museo de Arte Moderno de Zagreb, LaColect o el Museo Nacional Reina Sofía entre otros). Del mismo modo, he sido ganadora de diversas becas y concursos tales como Nuevos Talentos de Cortefiel (2013).
Actualmente desarrollo mi trabajo artístico, gracias a una beca de producción, en el taller de Grabado Contemporáneo de Ginebra GeGrave.
Of Spanish nationality, I work mainly through engraving, photography, installation and performance. I have developed my artistic career parallel to a career as a photographer, having worked for different newspapers, advertising firms and for the private sector, especially within the world of music.
As an artist, I develop a multidisciplinary approach towards the concepts of identity and memory, focusing mainly on the subject of women. My line of work is directly related to my life experience; as a result the execution of my pieces have always a very personal approach.
In recent years, I have been consolidating my artistic career, having made different exhibitions in and outside of Spain, both in galleries and fairs, official and independent (A3bandas, Air Gallery, the Museum of Modern Art in Zagreb, LaColect or the Reina Sofía National Museum among others). Through these experiences I was fortunate to become the winner of several scholarships and competitions such as New Talents of Cortefiel (2013).
I am currently developing my artistic work, thanks to a production grant, in GeGrave (Geneva Contemporary Engraving Workshop).
